Masterpiece 1

Hi good people,
I have been workin on some 200 orange and brown invites that have taken forever to get done...buut am done..finally :-)
These have to be my greatest pieces yet :- embossed initials are stuck at the front, glass beads, and a ribbon are part of the outside design.
The inside is pretty simple, text in brown, details of the wedding, and a map.
Am impressed and proud of myself :-) Here are the pics, enjoy!

A shot of some of the finished cards
Close up of the front of the card. The couples initials have been embossed, and the glass beads adds a classy touch to it, don't you think? yeah i know you do :-)

I tried getting a closer shot of the embossed part.. hope you can see the detail here

Much better shot, totally love this one

Close - up of the glass beads at the front. It was a labour of love sticking the 200 of them
( bt i really appreciate all the help i got )

The inside of the card (details have been blurred, no crashers please, lol)

Finished products :-) :-)
I totally love my job!!

The dream of making atienoamisi bigger and better is shaping up perfectly!!

have a fab day lovelies, xoxo

Thursday Dreams

So while traip-sing through the worldwide web..(tiihi) i came across these images which made me wish for a paper factory... or a card making factory.
Yeah, i know, normal people dream of money, cars, men, fame.... me too. But today, my dream is to have a paper factory, or better yet, a card making enterprise.. where i can make all sorts of cards..in all the shades of the rainbow.. in all sorts of shapes..... *sigh*

simple.... quirky... i like

First we adore the design, then we internalize the message :-)

who wuddathunk black n grey wud look this elegant?

the power of hand painted cards.....

sparkly :-)

love love love love love..lalalalaa.....
(powerpuff song, lol)

handpainted cards ANYDAY... ryt??

Quirky... :-)

Its a Giirrrrlll :-)

I found these as really creative.. instead of the cliche' rings and flowers.. they used bikes...
love bikes pe-rrr-haps? :-)

HAPPY KIDNEYS

Happy Kidney Foundation- (HAKI) is registered as a health based non profitable organization which is devoted to helping the people with Kidney Failure and other related challenges.

Their vision is to be a continent wide leader in helping people embrace information, training, seeking and offering support so that we can overcome kidney failure in Africa.

The mission of HAKI is to create awareness about Kidney failure and to help patients and communities get possible solutions for a happy living.

It is unfortunate because we are increasingly losing lives in Kenya and Africa as a region to Kidney related diseases and to be specific as a result of chronic Kidney disease through Acute Renal Failure.

Unfortunately most kidney problems, happen slowly. Thus one may have kidney disease for years and only to be discovered in the last stages.

This explains the need for support and effort by committed people to create awareness through informative initiatives, talks, forums and other programs since as seen above it is possible to reduce End stage Renal Disease thus saving the society the agony of the ever expensive modes of treatment namely dialysis sessions, kidney transplant and medication.

Help a life, leave a mark.
