New Stuff Comin Up.......

Hello good peoples...... :-)

So i have been workin on ideas and ideas for the last couple of weeks.... some have worked, some have fallen flat.... But point is.. work is in progress.

Aaaaand we have a big show comin up at the end of this month.. so we are gearin up for that :-)

The Afya Kenya Foundation is a registered charity trust organization based in Nairobi, Kenya that seeks to provide quality health care to the rural and urban poor through free community health outreach camps. It was set up by student doctors who saw the need for such an initiative in the course of their apprenticeship.

In support of this, atienoamisi always makes a point of bein part of Art for Afya Kenya, an initiative of The Afya Kenya foundation. This month, the theme is fighting hunger. So come and support this good cause & enjoy good music and art.. a must attend i must say!!

The Oooh So Elusive Bookmarks...

The long awaited bookmarks are finally here....

I have to say, no idea has ever bugged, disturbed, or annoyed me as much as this one.

Sleepless nights... agonizing over them... Long days spent thinking... ( ok enough with the over-dramatization...lol....) but point is I kept makin sample after sample but never quite got it right.

Uptil now, am still not over the moon about the outcome.....

Something just isn't there yet.. i dunno.... ya'll have a look at them and do share whatever ideas you might have to make this bookmarks look amazing!! cuz thats just what we do... amazing stuff :-) :-)

aside from the fact that my printer totally bummed out

on me and twitty on this one... i think its ayte... :-)

So there you have it.....

FOR THE BOOKWORM IN YOU

Hello good people.....bin a minute, yes? no?

 Maybe...

So....as i was trawlin the web on my usual browsin escapades, i came across some book mark designs that absolutely blew me away. 

I initially had the idea to make a couple for some friends who are doing their exams round about now....so i was doing my research when lo and behold.....Cute bookmarks ahoy!!! ( yeah yeah, roll ur eyes all u want, the language in this post will be quite dandy today, lol)

They've used the idea of paperclips attached to cardstock paper...cut out in various designs. I find this REFRESHING in the sense that its new, I haven't seen anything like this around thats for sure, and it looks quite amazin when u actually place it in your books. . . . 

To that end i went out and got me a book ( av been on that mojo for some time though, reading, I need to read more ya'll!!!) and be sure al be makin lots of cute bookmarks to stick everywhere :-) and that means more books to buy....borrow.... which leads to a smarter me ( eeerrmm...ok, not quite, but close enough )
